Zawya Cinema in Cairo will host the “Azza … Gaza” film program from 19 to 24 December 2025, featuring a curated selection of Sudanese and Palestinian films. The program explores themes of war, displacement, and resilience, giving audiences a platform to engage with stories of survival across generations.
Simultaneous screenings will take place in Ramallah and Nairobi, highlighting regional solidarity and shared experiences between Sudanese and Palestinian communities.

The program is curated in solidarity with Sudan and Palestine, emphasizing the personal and collective impacts of conflict. Through both feature films and shorts, “Azza … Gaza” invites reflection and dialogue on historical and contemporary struggles.
The name “Azza,” meaning home in Sudanese, symbolizes a shared sense of homeland and common experiences of loss and resilience, connecting audiences across regions.
